Since the Industrial Revolution beginning in 1750, humans have been emitting large amounts of greenhosue gases into the environment that get trapped into the atmosphere and cause the planet to warm. Greenhouse gases are chemicals released into the atmoshpere by burning fossil fuels, deforestation, and industrial processes. Greenhouse gases include carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrus oxide. Power plants, cars, and cement production are some of the largest producers of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.
