Create a Lesson Plan
In a simple step through process you can Create a Lesson Plan by completing an online form with the following information:
- Lesson Plan "At-a-Glance"
- Goals, Objectives, Prerequisites
- Materials
- Background Information
- Procedure
- External Resources
- Assessments and Rubrics
- Extensions

- Standards
You should prepare your content ahead of time as you will need to cut and paste it into the Lesson Plan form. You should also compile any photos, video or other necessary support materials for uploading.
Add Resources (Attachments)
After creating a Lesson Plan you will be able to add support materials known as Resources. Resources are uploaded using a simple form. As you upload a resource you will select one or more sections of the Lesson Plan that you wish to have the resource appear adjacent to. All the Lesson Plan’s resources also appear in the “Resources” tab next to the Lesson Plan tab.
Acceptable file types include: jpg, jpeg, gif, png, txt, doc, docx, xls, pdf, ppt, pptx, pps, flv, odt, ods, odp, mp3, mov, m4v, m4a, mp4, mpeg, avi, ogg, wmv, ico
Add Standards
While creating your Lesson Plan you may decide to add one or more of the associated set of state or country standards. This is a two-step process. First cut and paste your standards documentation into the Standards section of the Lesson Plan form. Repeat this step for all of the State and Country standards you wish to associate with your Lesson Plan. Second, decide which of those standards you wish to display by selecting the state or country from the drop down menu. The second step is only applicable, if you have input more than one set of standards.
